A Journey from the Japanese Alps to how we integrated ancient knowledge and nature into skincare.

At Myoko Embodied, our story begins in the serene mountain town of Myoko, Japan.

Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Japanese Alps, we were inspired to create skincare products that embody the harmony and purity of nature.

During the three years we ran our natural products business in Japan we discovered an ancient remedy called... tallow!

Arriving back to Australia, we now handcraft our tallow-based skincare range using top tier Australian ingredients including organic, 100% grass-fed tallow sourced from local farmers.

In Japan, the practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, involves immersing oneself in the forest atmosphere or really any place in nature, engaging all the senses and simply just "being" to promote well-being and healing of the mind and body.

This mindful connection with nature has been shown to reduce stress, enhance mood, and boost immune function.

This practice is prescribed by Doctors in Japan for numerous health issues including depression, anxiety and physical injury.
